The one behind the camera
The reason I even bought a DSLR camera is the three littles pictured above. Like many moms, we just want good photos of our children. Well, I fell in love with my first camera, and some things are just meant to be. I realized the guest house on our farm, scheduled to be burned down, would be a perfect, little studio. We extensively remodeled the 1900's guest house just steps out our front door. My favorite things about photography are building relationships with clients, challenging my creativity, and constantly learning. Because my clients invest in my work, I will continue to invest in myself. As long as I am behind the camera, I will strive to progress through classes, mentorships, and workshops. My background is graphic design and advertising, therefore, my passion is to create artwork for clients - from photographs, to announcement cards, and custom artwork for their walls.
I live for photographing in unique locations and beautiful North Dakota sunsets! When not behind the camera or computer, I enjoy spending time with my family, being outdoors, traveling, volleyball, coffee, and Amazon. My husband, along with our three children, call Wishek, North Dakota home.
